CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Robert Hite scored 24 points and Miami shot nearly 68 percent in the second half as the Hurricanes beat Clemson 83-77 on Saturday.<br>

Miami (15-7, 6-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) scored on 10 of its final 13 possessions, including seven trips in a row after the Tigers tied it at 63 with seven minutes to go.<br>

The Hurricanes shot 58.2 percent (32-of-55) for the game and 67.7 percent (21-of-31) in the second half, including making six of 11 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes. Clemson shot 43.8 percent (28-of-64) from the field.<br>
<br>
Miami's guards scored all but two of the Hurricanes' 52 points in the second half as they kept their NCAA tournament hopes alive.<br>
<br>
Clemson (11-12, 2-9) led by as much as 13 in the first half before Miami went on a 12-3 run in just over four minutes to cut the Tigers' lead to 35-31 at the break.<br>
<br>
Clemson must win four of its last six games to be eligible for an NIT bid.<br>
<br>
Shawan Robinson led the Tigers with 21 points. Sharrod Ford added 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds.<br>
<br>
Anthony Harris added 15 points, while Anthony King scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Hurricanes.
