ATLANTA (AP) Josh Goodwin hit eight of eleven three-point baskets and had 26 points to lead Belmont to a 69-to-59 Atlantic Sun Conference victory over Georgia State tonight.<br>

Goodwin's long-range shooting helped the Bruins (10-13, 9-6) convert on 13 of 30 attempts from beyond the arc.<br>
<br>
Will Peeples and Nick Otis added 13 points apiece for Belmont, with Otis converting four-of-seven three-pointers. Brian Collins had eight assists and nine rebounds for the Bruins.<br>
<br>
Georgia State (11-12, 8-7) had its three-game winning streak snapped, but lost for the third time in its last four home games.<br>
<br>
Malcolm Manier led the Panthers with 21 points and Boyd Copeland added 12. Sylvester Morgan had 13 rebounds and nine points.
