Region 5-AAA girls tourney results

UNDATED - In Region 5-AAA, which will play Region 7-AAA in the first round of the state tournament next week, the Avondale girls beat Westminster 46-45 for the title in a battle of top five teams.<br>
<br>
In the third place game, Dunwoody's whipped Towers 62-38.<br>
<br>
Avondale will play host to West Hall and Westminster will play host to Flowery branch next week in the first round of the state tournament.<br>
<br>
Dunwoody will travel to play defending Class AAA champion gainesville while Towers will travel to Johnson.
