Rabun fire victim still unidentified

CLAYTON - Authorities are still trying to positively identify a body found in the smoldering ruins of a house in Rabun County over the weekend.

The fire occurred Sunday afternoon about 12:30 on Dailey Ridge Lane.

The body has been sent to the state crime lab; the cause of the fire has not been determined, according to the Rabun County Sheriff's Office.
