GC's Nesbitt named to national education board

OAKWOOD - Gainesville College President Martha Nesbitt has been elected to the American Council on Education's (ACE) Board of Directors.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Nesbitt will join other leaders from across the nation to help fulfill the mission of the organization .

ACE the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.
