Georgia Force defeat Austin Wranglers 66-63

AUSTIN,TX - Nelson Garner kicked a 49-yard field goal as time expired to give the Georgia Force a 66-63 victory over the Austin Wranglers on Friday night.

Matt Nagy stepped in for starting quarterback Jim Kubiak, who left the game in the second quarter because of a knee injury, and threw for 257 yards and seven touchdowns for Georgia (4-1).

Georgia's Derek Lee scored his career-best fifth touchdown of the game on a 9-yard reception with 45 seconds left. Austin countered with a 4-yard scoring run by Henry Bryant with 11 seconds remaining.

Nagy used two plays to move the ball to the Force 17-yard line, setting up Garner's winning kick.

John Fitzgerald threw for 300 yards and five scores for Austin (1-4).
