Employee, suspect shot at Catoosa County Wal-Mart

<p>A Wal-Mart employee was shot and the suspected shooter was later shot by police, officials said.</p><p>Police were still looking for another suspect in the Monday night shooting early Tuesday morning in northwest Georgia.</p><p>Jeannie Dodd, of Chickamauga, said she was entering the store's parking lot when she saw a man standing on the passenger side of a pickup truck with a toolbox. She said she saw him pull a handgun from the box and fire shots at a vehicle that was leaving the parking lot.</p><p>He then went into the store and started shooting, she said.</p><p>Brandon Harris and his wife, Jennifer, of LaFayette, were on the west side of the parking lot.</p><p>"I saw him put a blue bandanna across his face," Brandon Harris said.</p><p>The couple said they saw a police car drive into the parking lot. They said an officer then got out and fired several shots.</p><p>Hernan Gomez, said he saw someone who had been injured by a gunshot.</p><p>"He was bleeding bad. They started using paper towels to get the blood, it was crazy," Gomez said.</p><p>At least one person was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.</p><p>Fort Oglethorpe Police Chief Doug Howell said only that several shots had been fired and the incident was under investigation.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x1cdb5c8)</p>
