Assisted-living center plans expansion

GAINESVILLE - A proposed expansion of a north Gainesville assisted-living faciilty is among the items on the agenda for the January 10th Gainesville Planning & Appeals Board meeting.
Soloman Senior Living Services is asking that a 6-acre tract on Thompson Bridge Road be rezoned for an exapnsion of Dogwood Forest. The site is across from the Ingle's Shopping Center.
Also on the agenda, a rezoning request for a lot on West Avenue near Washington Street where an office is planned. A similar application has been filed for a parcel on Thompson Bridge Road at Mountain View Drive.
