LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophia Young scored 30 points, rallying No. 6 Baylor from an 18-point second half deficit to beat No. 8 Georgia 84-72 Sunday at the Tip-Off Classic.

Baylor, the defending NCAA champions, extended its winning streak to 21 games. With Georgia's Tasha Humphrey in foul trouble, the Lady Bears whittled the Bulldog's 59-41 early second half advantage and took a 67-65 lead at the 8-minute mark.

Humphrey went to the bench with four fouls with 15:23 left.

Young, who matched a career high in points and added 14 rebounds, went to work inside after halftime. She established dominance underneath, scoring six of the Lady Bears' first eight points.

Baylor's Angela Tisdale added 19 points, Abiola Wabara had 13 and Chameka Scott had 11 for the Lady Bears.

Cori Chambers led Georgia with 17 points. Sherill Baker and Alexis Kendrick added 15 each and Humphrey finished with 14.

Georgia led 51-37 at halftime, using a 16-3 run from a tie at 26 to pull away from the Lady Bears.

Baylor found success getting the ball inside to Young, a preseason All-America and last year's Final Four MVP. After a strong start she hit on 6-of-6 from the field in the first 12 minutes she got only one more field goal before the break.

Baylor took a 1-0 lead even before the game started. Scott sank one of two free throws on a technical foul called when Georgia failed to turn its lineup to the scorer on time.
