UNDATED - Just in time for holiday gift-buying three people in Gainesville and one from Cumming have new books that are being launched.

Gainesville newspaper reporter and columnist Harris Blackwood has put together a book of his columns - most of them humorist in nature - he has written over the years. It's called When Old Mowers Die.

Denny Hendrix, a former sheriff of Forsyth County and Vietnam veteran, has written an account of his tour of duty in Vietnam - entitled Head-Hunter One Kilo!

Gordon Sawyer of Gainesvile is out with James Longstreet, Before Manassas & After Appomattox - focusing on the Confederate general's life before and after the Civil War.

WDUN political talk show host Martha Zoller's book, 'Indivisible: Uniting Values for a Divided Nation,' argues that Americans have more common ground that unites us as a people than divides us.
