Georgia State falls to Charlotte, 73-68

ATLANTA (AP) Curtis Withers scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Charlotte dominated the offensive boards and downed Georgia State 73-68 on Saturday.<br> <br> Charlotte (2-3) had 22 second chance points in the game, thanks to 42-19 edge on the boards that included 20 offensive rebounds.<br> <br> De&#39;Angelo Alexander added 15 points for Charlotte, including a key 3-point basket with 1:45 remaining and the shot clock winding down, giving Charlotte a five-point lead. Leemire Goldwire had 13 for Charlotte.<br> <br> Malcolm Manier led the Panthers (1-1) with 19 points and Justin Billingslea and Boyd Copeland added 14 points apiece.<br> <br> The score was tied six times, including 39-39 at halftime, and the lead changed nine times before Charlotte put it away.
