Strong winds push wind chills into the 30s

ATLANTA - Strong, blustery winds sweeping across northeast Georgia Tuesday morning produced wind chills in the 30s in most places. A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect until six p.m. for most of the area, including Hall County and there's also a Red Flag Warning for dangerous fire conditions in the same counties.

*A lake wind advisory is in effect for the following counties in our area through 6:00 p.m. Tuesday:

Elbert, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Jackson, Madison, Gwinnett and Barrow.

*A frost advisory is in effect for the following county in our area from midnight Tuesday night through 6:00 a.m. Wednesday:

Elbert

*A Red Flag warning for dangerous fire weather conditions is in effect for the following counties in our area from noon Tuesday to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday:

Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Jackson, Madison, Gwinnett and Barrow.
