Eagles get road win over W. Carolina

CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Elton Nesbitt led four players in double-digit scoring with 23 points as Georgia Southern defeated Western Carolina 85-76 on Monday.<br>

The Catamounts' Rans Brempong set a Southern Conference record for blocked shots with 270.<br>
<br>
Also scoring double-digits for the Eagles (6-6, 1-1 Southern Conference) were Terry Williams (16), Jean Francois (14), and Donte Gennie (12). Francois also had nine rebounds.<br>

Kyle Greathouse led four Catamounts (5-10, 0-2) in double-digit scoring with 24 points. He also had three assists and four rebounds. David Berghoefer added 13 points and nine rebounds, Brempong had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Terrence Woodyard tallied 10 points and eight rebounds.<br>

The game was tied 36-36 at the break. But the Eagles took the lead early in the second half and never trailed.
