Georgia Trend recognizes two from Gainesville

ATLANTA - For the first time since 2000, Gainesville is represented on Georgia Trend Magazine&#39;s annual list of the 100 Most Influential Georgians.<br> <br> Much of this month&#39;s edition is devoted to the list, which includes the President and CEO of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC), Kit Dunlap, and Phillip Wilheit, President of Wilheit Packaging, LLC, and Chairman of Gainesville Bank & Trust and GB&T Bancshares, Inc.<br> <br> The magazine notes that, in addition to her duties as head of the GHCC, Dunlap also chairs the board of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District and serves on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Quality Growth Task Force, Northeast Georgia Medical Center and SunTrust Bank.<br> <br> Wilheit, Georgia Trend says, is considered by many &#34;region insiders&#34; the top economic development recruiter in Hall County. For nearly 30 years, he has served on the Gainesville/Hall County Development Authority and the chamber of commerce board of directors. Wilheit has been a member of the Economic Development Council for 14 years.
