BALDWIN - Fieldale Farms employees will be able to see a doctor and get medicine at a reduced price, now that the company has opened a family health center in Baldwin.

Spokeswoman Denise Ivester says the health center and pharmacy are a collaborative effort.

"We hired the Meridian Group to come in and manage the center for us," Ivester says. "And we were very fortunate to have Dr. David Gray come in and serve as our doctor, and Mitchell Trotter. . . will be managing our pharmacy."

The center was officially opened Monday, and will be open only to Fieldale employees and their families each Monday through Friday.

"This is just another way that we're trying to help our employees be able to see a doctor at a reduced cost," Ivester says.

Patients can see a doctor for a $10 co-pay. The center is located at 184-B Professional Drive in Baldwin.
