Warriors get pair of wins at Johnson tri-meet

OAKWOOD - The White County wrestling team, which narrowly missed out on qualifying for this weekend's State Duals Tournament, won a pair of matches against Banks County and host Johnson Thursday.<br>

The Warriors beat Banks County 54-27 and then knocked off Johnson 51-24 in dual matches.<br>
<br>
Johnson beat Banks 48-27 to get one win.<br>
<br>
Chris Grindle at 119-pounds, Spencer Arnold (135) and Charles Estrada (160) each won two matches for the Knights. Winston Arnold (103), Thad Bowers (125), Michael Jones (130), Phat Vu (140), John Michaels (145), Chad Cole (152), and Josh Pearson (171) all recorded wins for Johnson in the tri-match meet.<br>
