Falcons fever everywhere leading up to Sunday's game

UNDATED - It may have been hard for many students in Gainesville and Hall County to concentrate on their studies Friday because of the fever that rolled through Georgia leading up to Sunday's NFC Championship game - Falcons fever.

For example, many Enota Elementary students came to school during the week, vividly displaying their enthusiasm for the Falcons through their dress. And, the school got into the spirit, too. Some bulletin boards were plastered with Falcons-related pictures and even a poem or two.

The hype leading to Sunday's NFC Championship game in Philadelphia - won by the Eagles - captured the fancy of young and old alike, diehard fans, casual fans, and those who only pay attention to the team when a trip to the Super Bowl is on the line.

Philadelphia now heads to the Super Bowl Feb. 6 in Jacksonville, Florida.
