Saints complete sweep of VIC

DAHLONEGA - The seventh-ranked North Georgia baseball team completed a sweep in the season-opening series against Virginia Intermont College with a 16-1 win Saturday.<br> <br> The Saints scored four runs in the second and five in the third and fourth innings. <br> <br> Junior short stop Kyle Potts of Jefferson hit his first home run of the year in rout to a five RBI day. Sophomore center fielder Josh Stowe also had a good day at the plate, knocking three hits and tallying five RBI&#39;s. <br> <br> Senior starter Jason Willard pitched five strong innings for the win and struck out 10 batters.<br> <br> Cobras sophomore starter Early Page took the loss after giving up four earned runs off of 10 hits. <br> <br> North Georgia will play again this Friday as they host Claflin University at 2 p.m.
