Georgia State Panthers maul Mercer

ATLANTA - Georgia State center Sylvester Morgan had a school-record nine blocked shots Sunday as the Panthers beat Mercer University 72-61.<br> <br> Morgan, a senior, also set a school record for rebounds with nine. He scored 15 points in the win. The Panthers&#39; top scorer guard Malcolm Manier. who scored 20.<br> <br> Georgia State and Mercer were tied at halftime, 31-31, and the game was tied nine times in the first half.<br> <br> But Georgia State pulled away in the second half to improve its record to 8-10.
