Williams wins seventh Grand Slam

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) Serena Williams captured her seventh career Grand Slam by rallying to win the Australian Open, 2-6, 6-3, 6-love against top-seed Lindsay Davenport.<br> <br> It was a stunning turnaround for Williams. She needed about five minutes to recover from an apparent strained rib muscle while losing the first match. She won the final nine games of the match.<br> <br> She has won her last 14 Australian Open matches. She won the Australian Open in 2003, which gave her a run of four consecutive major titles. Williams missed last year&#39;s Australian Open because of a knee injury.<br> <br> Williams said she&#39;s excited that she&#39;s ``still improving&#39;&#39; her game.<br> <br> This is Williams&#39; first Grand Slam singles title since Wimbledon in 2003.
