Morehouse nips Benedict

COLUMBIA, S.C. - A 41-yard run by Kelvin Moore in the third quarter pushed Morehouse College to a 10-7 win over Benedict College on Saturday night.<br> <br> The Maroon Tigers had trailed through the first half.<br> <br> Gary McCausland put Benedict (1-2, 0-1 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) on the board with 1:05 left in the first quarter with a fumble recovery from the 2-yard line.<br> <br> Morehouse (1-2, 1-1 SIAC) responded with a 26-yard field goal late in the second quarter.<br> <br> Morehouse&#39;s Duwuan Burton was 16-for-34 with 103 yards passing.
