BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - For the first time this season, the Tigers played the LSU way, coach Nick Saban said on Monday.

Now he wants more of the same.

No. 13 LSU's 51-0 rout of Mississippi State featured the toughness and competitive spirit Saban wanted. There were still things to work on, however.

``There were some things that execution-wise ... we need to improve on,'' Saban said. ``I think that's probably going to be the case most of the time.''

He cited turnovers and ``maybe a few too many penalties that could get us in trouble down the road, especially the undisciplined-type penalties.''

Saban was not happy with the five illegal procedure penalties on offense.

LSU lost four scoring opportunities because of fumbles, something Saban said came from some very basic errors like not carrying the football correctly.

The Tigers face the biggest test of the year Saturday when they travel to play No. 3 Georgia.

``They're a very, very good football team, I don't think anybody has any questions about that,'' Saban said. ``And they are good in every area of their team.''

LSU is in better shape physically, Saban said.

Wide receiver Skyler Green, who caught 48 passes for 519 yards last year, may finally get into the game this weekend. Saban wants to make sure Green's ankle has completely recovered before making the decision.

``If I see Skyler Green in practice this week as a guy that is confident, comfortable and not worried about his ankle then he should be ready to play,'' Saban said.

Green could have played against Mississippi State, but the coaching staff decided to hold him out another week, Saban said.
