Funeral planned for Buford couple

UNDATED - The bodies of Jimmy and Carol House will be returned to Buford Tuesday evening from Tennessee, the owners of Tapp Funeral Home in Buford were killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident.

National Park spokeswoman Nancy Gray said the accident happened on the Foothills Scenic Parkway near Walland Tennessee.

"They were killed instantly," Gray said. " And, were pronounced dead on the scene."

The couple's motorcycle was hit head on by a minivan driven Jeffery Jennings of Marryville Tennessee.

"Crossed the centerline and ran into them head on." Gray added.

Visitation is at the funeral home Thursday from noon-till-nine, the funeral will be Friday at First Baptist Church Buford.
