Residential building activity holds steady

GAINESVILLE - Residential building activity in Gainesville and Hall County remained stable in July compared to the month before.

In the city, five permits for new, single-family homes were issued for structures expected to cost $761,000.

In unincoporated Hall County, 84 were okayed for $17 million worth of construction.

Commercial/industrial activity was highlighted last month by two million dollars worth of additions and renovations in the city.
