Pollack, a defensive end, suffered a strained patella tendon in his right knee Friday. Jean-Gilles, who is moving from tackle to guard, suffered a sprained left ankle Saturday as Georgia had its first day of two-a-day drills.
Each had X-rays Saturday.
The injuries are not expected to keep the players out of No. 3 Georgia's Sept. 4 season opener against Georgia Southern, but they likely will miss practice time this week, according to Georgia spokesman Claude Felton.
