Two charged with GHS gang graffiti

GAINESVILLE - Two young boys have been charged with spraying "a large amount" of gang graffiti on and around Gainesville High School.

Lt. Jeff Harris of the Gainesville Police Department said Wednesday the incident was reported about 7:30 Monday morning and the two suspects were in custody by 6:00 that evening.

Lt. Harris says the Gainesville-Hall County Gang Task Force is assisting in the investigation and more individuals may have been involved.

He said the markings referred to a local gang known as "BOE 23."
