Dawson County, North Forsyth stay perfect in North Fall Classic

DAHLONEGA - The Dawson County and North Forsyth girls softball teams remained undefeated in the North Fall Classic after taking impressive wins Friday afternoon at North Georgia College.<br>
<br>
Dawson County beat South Forsyth 4-0 while Class AAAA No. 8-ranked North Forsyth whipped Hebron Christain Academy 7-2 in the Gold bracket of the tournament.<br>
<br>
The game between rivals North Forsyth and South Forsyth was rained out.<br>
<br>
In other action from the tournament, at North Hall High School, co-host North Hall got a one-hit shutout from Haley Bower in a 10-0 win over Gainesville in six innings.<br>
<br>
Caroline Bower went 3-for-4, Amanda Albertson was 3-for-3, Kristi Underwood was 2-for-3 and Lindsey Kitchens and Sara Caldwell each had two hits to lead the North Hall (2-2) attack.<br>
<br>
In other games at North Hall, Lumpkin County defeated Jefferson 7-4 while Lumpkin County-Gainesville game was rained out.<br>
<br>
The tournament resumes Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at both sites.
