Federal grant to help build Habersham park

GAINESVILLE - The National Park Service has awarded a grant to the state for the development of a park in Habersham County.

The grant totals $78,000 and will be used by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in the development of a 7.5-acre site in Mt. Airy.

The park will include nature and exercise trails, parking areas, and a comfort station.
