LAS VEGAS - A Las Vegas casino gave Linda Ronstadt the boot -- after she sparked a near-riot by praising filmmaker Michael Moore and his new anti-Bush documentary.

It happened during her performance on Saturday at the Aladdin hotel-casino.

Before singing an encore, she called Moore a ``great American patriot'' and ``someone who is spreading the truth.'' She also encouraged everybody to see the movie ''Fahrenheit 9/11.''

Her comments drew loud boos, and some of the 45-hundred people in attendance stormed out of the theater. People also tore down her posters and tossed cocktails into the air.

The president of the Aladdin was watching the show and decided Ronstadt had to go -- for good. She wasn't even allowed back in her luxury suite and was escorted off the property. And Bill Timmins says as long as he's running the Aladdin, Ronstadt won't be coming back.
