Five students plead innocent to prank charges

<p>Five recent graduates of Northgate High School pleaded not guilty Friday to felony charges for a senior prank at the school.</p><p>Eric Epps, Daniel Krueger, Justin Richey, Kevin Tanner and Brandon Veasy are charged with first-degree criminal damage to property stemming from the May incident. The trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 1.</p><p>The teens spray-painted four golf carts, used black paint to write "Seniors '04" on the carts and poured bleach on the football field, said Sgt. Mike McGuffey of the Coweta County Sheriff's Department.</p><p>Damage was estimated at $1,500.</p><p>The students graduated in May but were not allowed to take part in the graduation ceremony.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x28681e0)</p>
