<p>A Georgia man accused of stabbing his 18-year-old daughter to death in Alabama was ordered held Friday without bond.</p><p>Curtis Moffett, 47, of Columbus pleaded innocent to four charges involving the sexual assault of Lashinda Moffett, who was stabbed repeatedly with a kitchen knife at her grandmother's home in Lee County, Ala.</p><p>In addition to the charges in Georgia, Moffett also faces a murder charge in Alabama.</p><p>Recorder's Court Judge Michael Cielinski ordered Moffett held at the Muscogee County Jail without bond on each of two charges of rape and a total of $500,000 on two charges of incest.</p><p>Moffett was freed from prison in October after serving time for molesting the girl, who was killed four days after she told investigators he had assaulted her again. Police said they had unsuccessfully tried to locate Moffett before the killing.</p><p>Curtis Moffett's mother, Elvira Brundidge, shot him in the leg with a shotgun in an attempt to protect the girl. Lt. Van Jackson of the Lee County Sheriff's Department said other family members also were present during the killing but were unable to intervene.</p><p>Moffett left the house in his car and was arrested two hours later. He was pulled over during a traffic stop and taken to a hospital for treatment of the gunshot wound. He was later taken to jail.</p><p>Police believe the teenager, originally of Columbus, moved in with her grandmother last Thursday because of the allegations.</p>
