Cumming man tied for Ga. Amateur lead

ATHENS - Doug Green of Cumming, Doug Stiles of Athens and Tiimo Treilobs of Columbus share the lead after the first round of the Georgia Amateur Championship at Athens Country Club.<br> <br> Green, Stiles and Treilobs all shot two-under-par 68s Thursday for a one-stroke lead. <br> <br> David Denham of Tifton, Jonathan Fricke of Snellville and Chuck Pinkard of Cumming shot 69 - the only other golfers in the field to break par. <br> <br> The Georgia Amateur Championship is conducted by the Georgia State Golf Association. It was first won by Bobby Jones in 1916.
