GHCC 'sewer summit' is Friday

GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) is gearing up for a wastewater briefing Friday morning - the so-called "sewer summit" for all municipalities in the county as well as the general public.

The meeting will delve into who serves which service districts; immediate and long-term plans for sewer service; plants, lines, and other infrastructure; the costs; and how to pay for the plans.

The meeting is scheduled from 8:00-12:00 at the Gainesville Civic Center.
