Victim of fatal Fannin County auto crash identified

BLUE RIDGE - State Troopers say a 39 year old Blue Ridge woman died on impact when her mini van was hit by an 18 wheeler Thursday evening.

Investigators says a front tire blew on the truck driven by 27 year old Floyd Elliot of Blairsville on Forge Mill Road at GA 2 and the truck hit the drivers side door of the van driven by Roberta Underwood.

Two other people were also injured. The crash remains under investigation and charges could be forthcoming.
