Georgia teen scores upset in Acura Classic

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA - Ashley Harkleroad scored one of the biggest victories of her career, beating 13th-seeded Patty Schnyder 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 in the opening round of the Acura Classic. <br> <br> Harkleroad, ranked 109th in the world, came from behind in the third set to win the final two games and surprise Schnyder Monday. <br> <br> The tournament features seven of the top ten players in the world, including Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova in her first action since winning her first Grand Slam title. <br> <br> The 19-year old Harkleroad, a native of Rossville, Georgia, fought back against Schnyder after winning the first set, but fell behind when Schnyder took control of the match in the second and took a two-zip lead in the third.
