<p>A funeral service will be held at Fort Benning for an Army intelligence officer who died in Iraq on Memorial Day.</p><p>Fort Benning officials said Friday that the body of Capt. Robert C. Scheetz Jr. will be brought to the Army base, but a date for funeral services has not been set. Scheetz, 31, was from Pennsylvania and graduated from Troy State University in Alabama.</p><p>Scheetz had served in Iraq for more than a year. He died shortly before noon on Memorial Day in an Iraqi infirmary from injuries he received in an explosion at his unit's campsite the day before.</p><p>Family members said his body would be flown to Baumholder, Germany, where he lived with his wife, Jennifer, before he went to Iraq. After a memorial service there, the body will be returned to Fort Benning, where he was stationed before moving to Germany in 2001.</p><p>A 1990 graduate of Shamokin Area High School in Shamokin Township, Pa., Scheetz learned to fly at an aviation school in Enterprise, Ala., and met his future wife in Dothan, family members said. He graduated in 1999 from Troy State University, with a major in international business and a minor in military science, TSU spokesman Tom Davis said.</p><p>He was serving as a battalion intelligence officer with the 1st Armored Division at the time of his death.</p>
