DAWSONVILLE - Plans have been filed for a subdivision that would be one of the largest ever constructed in Dawson County.
It's planned near the Forsyth County line off Georgia 400.
Called Hopewell at Blacks Mill Creek, the development would consist of about 400 homes - half of them townhouses with the rest single-family residences.

The site is at the intersection of Lumpkin Campground and Harry Sosebee Roads - and the developer is PEC Development Group of Atlanta.
