ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves agreed to contract terms with their top draft pick and nine others Wednesday and assigned them to the rookie leagues.<br>

Number one choice Eric Campbell, a third baseman from Gibson Southern High School in Fort Branch, Indiana who was the 71st overall draft pick, was assigned to the Gulf Coast League team based at Disney World. Joining Campbell there will be right-handed pitcher James Parr, who was drafted in the fourth round; left-hander Johnnie Wiggins, a seventh-round choice; and catcher Mike Rozema, picked in round 14.<br>

Assigned to Danville, Virginia, of the Appalachian League were shortstop William Arnold (eighth round), left-hander Brady Endl (tenth), and right-handers Jeff Long (12th), Jason Paul (15th) and Zach Schreiber (16th).<br>

The Braves said they also reached terms with left-handed pitcher Wes Letson, who was chosen in the 11th round. The team did not provide an assignment for Letson, who pitched for Birmingham-Southern against Clemson last week in the NCAA Athens regional.
