Hartness wins Emmy

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - A former WDUN staff member, who grew up in Gainesville and is now on the news staff at a Greenville, South Carolina, TV station, has won a Regional Emmy.

Erin Hartness worked for WDUN a couple of years ago and as an intern while she was in college.

She was awarded an Emmy recently for a story about a 17-year-old with cerebral palsey who runs on his high school's cross-country team.
