'Ethics in Government' workshop planned in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - The state Ethics Commission and the Hall County Board of Elections will hold a workhop Friday for candidates in this year's elections and any public office holder.

Hall County Director of Elections Anne Phillips said the session will deal with the Ethics in Government Act as it applies to candidates and office holders.

Discussions will include the preparation of campaign contributions disclosure reports, financial disclosure statements, and related information.

Phillips said the meeting will be held at the Hall County Courthouse from 10:00 a.m. until noon - and is open to interested parts from Hall and surrounding counties.
