5-story hotel planned in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - A new hotel on Jewell Parkway in Gainesville and a 660-acre mixed-use development on Mundy Mill Road near Oakwood are to be considered by Gainesville planners next month.<br> <br> Both are on the agenda for the July 13 Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board meeting.<br> <br> The five-story hotel is planned at the Jewell Parkway/Dorsey Street interesection.<br> <br> The development on Mundy Mill Road would include a variety of residential components and would be located on both sides of the road in the Mountain View Road/Meeks Road area.<br> <br> Also on the agenda: Planners will also be asked to help clear the way for eleven townhouses on Riverside Terrace and a request for a multi-use church building which Good Shepher Lutheran Church wants to build near its present location on South Enota.<br> <br>
