Search continues for pilot missing in plane crash

<p>Divers searched Monday for the pilot of a small plane carrying four men that crashed into the Intracoastal Waterway here.</p><p>A Cessna 310 hit the water just short of the runway at Grand Strand Airport shortly after noon Sunday, said Kathleen Bergen with the Federal Aviation Administration in Atlanta.</p><p>Three passengers swam to safety.</p><p>"They are shaken up, but their condition is good," North Myrtle Beach Fire Chief Tom Barstow said.</p><p>The plane took off from DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta to take the men to the Atlantic Beach Bikefest.</p><p>Divers searched for James A. Moore, 34, of Atlanta, until about 9 p.m. and resumed the search Monday morning, said Natural Resources Department Lt. Robert McCullough.</p><p>"It's only about 15 feet of water," McCullough said.</p><p>McCullough identified two of the passengers as Eric Long, 25, of Cartersville, Ga. and Carl E. McKinney, 34, of Atlanta. He could not confirm the name of the third man that swam from the crash.</p><p>The plane is registered to Atlanta Flight Time LLC, Bergen said. McKinney is the registered agent for that company.</p><p>The plane reported to a local control tower that it had lost power and planned to land in the water, officials said.</p>
