Brenau hands out nearly 600 degrees

GAINESVILLE - The 125th commencement exercises for the 2004 graduating classes of Brenau University were held Friday and Saturday at the Georgia Mountains Center.

There were three ceremonies.

With a graduating class of 140, the Women's College graduation was held Friday night; the 252 undergraduate students of the Evening and Weekend and Online College had their ceremony Saturday morning; and the 203 graduate students of the Evening and Weekend College and the Online College will receive their diplomas Saturday afternoon.

Brenau was the first of the colleges and universities in northeast Georgia to hold spring graduation this year.
