Gloria Delilah Aaron, sister of baseball great, dies at 66

MOBILE, ALABAMA - Gloria Delilah Aaron, a sister of baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, has died. She was 66.<br> <br> Gloria Aaron died of cancer Saturday in Mobile, according to her sister, Alfedia Aaron Scott of Atlanta. She said Aaron had been diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago. After she suffered a stroke several years later, it was discovered that the cancer had returned, Scott said.<br> <br> Aaron was a former employee of the Mobile County public schools and Delchamps Corp., and also a charter board member of the Mobile Area Sports Commission, founded in 1997.<br> <br> Survivors also include her mother, Estella Aaron of Mobile, brothers Henry ``Hank&#39;&#39; Aaron of Atlanta and James Aaron of Mobile.<br> <br> The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, followed by a private burial.
