Idrissi played last season for Massanuten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va.
``We are thrilled to be able to add a player of Younes' ability to our team at this late date,'' coach Dennis Felton said. ``Younes is very talented, athletic and versatile.''
Idrissi's potential is his biggest asset, according to Felton.
``He has only been playing the game for roughly 3.5 years, but he has already developed tremendous skills,'' the coach said. ``I believe he has tremendous potential to continue developing.''
The Bulldogs need all the help they can get for the coming year. Levi Stukes is the only starter and one of just four scholarship players returning from a team that reached the NIT last season.
Idrissi is Georgia's fifth signee, joining Robert Dozier of Lithonia, Dave Bliss of Wausau, Wis., Channing Toney of Snellville and Sundiata Gaines of Queens, N.Y.
