The Bulldogs earned the No. 2 seed by winning the SEC East division, but lost in a series of tiebreakers with Arkansas for the top seed.
Georgia will play its first tournament game Wednesday at 1 p.m. against No. 7 seed Vanderbilt.
Arkansas and Georgia both won their respective divisions outright, but will share the SEC regular season title with a 19-11 conference record.
The two did not play during the regular season. The No. 1 and 2 seeds for the tournament were determined by finding the highest seeded common opponent.
Before the Arkansas-Georgia tie was broken, a tie for 3rd between LSU and Ole Miss with 18-12 records needed to be broken. With LSU beating Ole Miss two out of three games this weekend, LSU received the No. 3 Seed for the SEC Baseball Tournament, while Ole Miss is seeded No. 4.
Arkansas swept LSU while Georgia lost two out of three games to the Tigers, giving Arkansas the No. 1 seed in the SEC Baseball Tournament.
