"We were hoping to get 18 in today but Mother Nature wouldn't cooperate," said NGA/Hooters Tour Tournament Director Jeff Harlow. "The golf course was unplayable Saturday, and last nights rain made things even worse. Too many areas of the golf course are basically underwater. We just couldn't get 36 holes in. It's unfortunate."
According to NGA/Hooters Tour policy, a tournament must be at least 36 holes to be official.
The next stop for the NGA/Hooters Tour is Chesterfield, Virginia for the Kroger-PowerBar Classic at Lake Chesdin GC located outside Richmond. The total purse for The Kroger-PowerBar Classic is $145,000 with $24,000 going to the winner.
