<p>A 20-year-old man has been arrested for a string of crimes committed over an eight-month period throughout Cobb County, including two murders and several armed robberies.</p><p>Aaron Brandon Willis of Marietta was arrested Thursday and charged with the murders of Ramona Antonia Agramontes, a taxi cab driver killed last July, and John H. Evans III, who was shot to death Feb. 13 inside a former day care center he owned.</p><p>Willis also was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in three other incidents.</p><p>Authorities said the crime spree began on June 6, 2003, with a Marietta home invasion, where they believe Willis stole the .45 caliber handgun later used to kill Agramontes and Evans.</p><p>Cpl. Dana Pierce said police were led to Willis, after he allegedly robbed and assaulted a 25-year-old man in the parking lot of his own apartment complex Jan. 7.</p><p>After charging him in the January robbery, detectives searched Willis' apartment and found property belonging to Evans and a 45-year-old woman who had been robbed at an Arby's restaurant in October 2003, Pierce said.</p><p>The Rev. Matt ParClair, the Evans' family spokesman since his murder, said they were pleased with the arrest in connection with his killing.</p><p>"For this loss to have meaning, they wanted this person to be apprehended so that the community could be safe," ParClair said.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x28664dc)</p>
