A look at this weekend's draft for the Atlanta Falcons:

FIRST PICK: No. 8 overall.

WHO'S PICKING: General manager Rich McKay, hired late last season after building a Super Bowl champion in Tampa Bay, will run the draft. He'll get advice from assistant GM Tim Ruskell and new coach Jim Mora.

LAST SEASON: After winning its opener, Atlanta lost seven straight without QB Michael Vick. Coach Dan Reeves was fired in the midst of a 5-11 season. Mora, the former 49ers defensive coordinator, took over.

THEY NEED: CB, DL, OL, OLB.

THEY DON'T NEED: Safeties.

POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: Atlanta scouts love DeAngelo Hall, CB, Virginia Tech, who also can help as kick returner. After signing veteran CBs Jason Webster and Aaron Beasley, Falcons could take their time grooming Hall for the left side.

OUTLOOK: Success depends on Vick's health, but defense allowed the most yards (6,108) in franchise history. PK Jay Feely isn't a lock to keep his job, either.
