Hall commission due community center report Monday

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Commission Monday is expected to hear a report on the question of where to locate a new community center.

During its 2:00 work session Monday afternoon, the commission is slated to be briefed on the matter in a report from the county Parks and Leisure Services Department.

A week ago, competing delegations from East Hall and North Hall lobbied before the commission for the facility.lobby for new Hall County community center.

Also on the agenda: a report from the county Human Resources Department on adoption of a random drug and alcohol testing program for "safety sensitive" employees.
